Conditions Treated

For many women, pregnancy also brings on many new and unwanted symptoms such as nausea and heartburn, muscle cramps, back pain and constipation. Naturopathic Medicine offers many safe and effective treatment options to help make your pregnancy as comfortable as possible.  I use an evidence-based approach to pick the best nutraceuticals for your health needs and ensure you are getting optimal nutrition. If you are dealing with morning sickness, weekly acupuncture significantly reduces nausea and vomiting during the first trimester.1

My Clinical Expertise

Perinatal health has always been a huge passion of mine. Before starting my journey in Naturopathic Medicine, I completed a Master’s thesis entitled Lifestyle Interventions to Improve Gestational Outcomes: A Cross-Cultural Report, where I examined the influence of dietary knowledge and practices on fetal health. Watch my award-winning thesis HERE to learn more about my findings.  During my first few years of practice, I worked as a research assistant on a textbook examining the safety of herbs during pregnancy and lactation.

Koble Care

I previously worked as a wellness provider for Koble, a digital support platform for perinatal and postpartum health. As an IVF mama of two young boys, I know firsthand just how overwhelming the postpartum period can be. As you navigate this new chapter, I can offer support around common concerns such as low milk supply, mood changes, postpartum nutrition and hormone health.
